PSF Mumbai organized a special Cricket Meetup on Saturday, 6th December, at MES School Turf, Kurla, bringing together members from various localities across the city. The initiative aimed to create a space for community bonding, physical activity, and informal networking among PSF participants.

About the Meetup

The event gathered around 15 participants from areas including Bandra, Kurla, Byculla, Vikhroli, and Mumbra. The meetup was designed as a recreational and social engagement activity, allowing attendees to interact in a friendly, active environment outside the usual professional and developmental settings of PSF.

Program Activities

The session began with a friendly cricket match marked by enthusiasm, teamwork, and healthy competition. Participants showcased impressive sportsmanship throughout the game, creating an energetic atmosphere on the ground.

PSF Mumbai recently held a well-organized and impactful fees distribution event at Mira Road, fostering a spirit of learning, unity, and motivation among parents and children.

The event began with an inspiring Tazkeer by Sis Nusrat Ansari, who recited Surah Asr, emphasizing the importance of doing good deeds and maintaining faith in both this world and the hereafter. Her message encouraged sincere effort and the pursuit of good actions in every aspect of life.

Next, the event featured a demonstration of the new parent login feature on PSF Mumbai’s website, allowing parents to easily access essential information and enhance communication with the institution. This development aims to further improve the digital experience for the PSF community.

A key highlight of the event was the cheque distribution ceremony, where PSF Mumbai honored parents with financial support, celebrating the collective efforts and community spirit.

The program concluded with a motivational speech by Brother Nawaz, who shared valuable insights on the importance of education, perseverance, and teamwork in achieving a brighter future. His words were inspiring for both parents and children alike.

On the occasion of the second-term school fees distribution, PSF’s core social service team had the privilege of meeting with students and parents. The event proved to be a fruitful and enriching interaction, fostering a sense of connection and understanding between the PSF team, the students, and their families.

During the informal talks, PSF members took the opportunity to listen to the challenges faced by students in their academic journey. Practical tips were shared, such as minimizing mobile screen time, creating structured study schedules, and staying focused on academic goals. These discussions served as a valuable platform for addressing concerns and offering guidance to enhance the students’ learning experience.

As the second academic term kicks off, PSF’s Kafalat Project continues to make a significant impact, benefitting over 200 students across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and suburban areas. This sponsorship initiative focuses on assisting students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds, including orphans and those raised by single parents. The program aims to provide these students with the opportunity to receive quality education, irrespective of their financial challenges.

While engaging with the students and parents, the team was heartened to hear several success stories from the Kafalat program, which was launched in 2017. These success stories stand as a testament to the positive difference PSF has been able to make in the lives of many students over the years.

As a dedicated team, PSF remains committed to its mission of creating lasting social change. Through our expertise and deep sense of moral and religious responsibility, we are determined to ensure that no student is left behind due to financial constraints. 1. Food Distribution at Ambujwadi, Malad West: In our latest effort to combat hunger, we distributed nutritious meals to the community. This event featured Soya Bean Pulao and Veg Pulao, served to 100 individuals, ensuring that families received wholesome sustenance prepared with care.

2. Cold Weather Drive at Islamic Center, Malwani: Addressing the urgent need for warmth during the chilly season, we distributed 16 sweaters to underprivileged individuals. This initiative aimed to provide comfort and protection against the cold, showcasing the power of collective compassion.
