PSF Navi Mumbai had organized its 2nd get together on 23rd Saturday November 2019 at education and welfare center, Navi Mumbai On topic ‘Managing personal finance’

The session kicked off with a beautiful Quraan recitation and translation by Br.Imran Hashmi. Br.Ashmar Kalangottil briefed about the PSF and its various initiatives and activities across Mumbai and navi mumbai including Kafalath project

br.Furqan Qureshi briefed about various ponzy schemes, its origin and how not to fall prey to such schemes which are lucrative on the face. The session was followed by an insightful delivery on managing personal finance by Br. Hasan Wangde. Br. Wangde walked the crowd through as how to inculcate a savings culture and further enlighted about various instruments available at disposal to begin savings and how money works for an individual when all the sources of income are at rest post mid-age.

PSF Navi Mumbai chapter organised its first get-together on 3rd August, Saturday evening at Nerul, Navi mumbai. Despite heavy rains, the program was attended by total of 36 members. 

Post Tilawat and translation of the Holy Quran by Br. Imran Hashmi, brief introduction of PSF was shared by Br. Yahya. Highlighting the Objectives of PSF and journey over the last 2 years, he shared an update on the flagship Kafalat project. Sponsoring the needy students on the website www.educatechild.in was explained and urged to participate in the noble cause.

 The Guest speaker, Mr. Shabbir Ahmed, then took on the stage and mesmerized the audience for an hour. A professional himself with 17 years of experience, Br. Shabbir shared few valuable Nuggets for Growth – both in the professional sphere as well as personal domain.

The session was very interactive with use of real-life examples & anecdotes and session’s learning were summarised with 3 cheat codes: DIKW, P = P – I and A –> ABC –> ABCD

Vote of thanks was delivered by the chapter lead Br. Ashmar who also inspired the members to ponder over new ideas and avenues where they believed PSF would be able to make an impact in the young chapter. A networking session over dinner concluded the day.
