From Legacy to Leadership – Muslim Professionals in the Modern World

The event commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Mr. Mazher Hassan, setting a spiritual and reflective tone for the evening. This was followed by an introduction to PSF Mumbai and its activities by Prof. Nusrat Ansari, highlighting the organization’s initiatives towards professional networking, community development, and community engagement.
The first session, “Lessons from History for Today’s Professionals”, was delivered by Mr. Gulam Arif, Social Commentator. The session focused on drawing inspiration from Islamic history and the contributions of Muslim leaders, emphasizing values such as integrity, resilience, vision, and service in today’s professional world.
Following a short break for Maghrib prayers, the program continued with the second session, “Corporate Ethics and Professional Conduct for Muslim Professionals”, conducted by Mr. Tajammul Khan, IT Professional & NLP Life Coach. The session provided practical insights into workplace ethics, professionalism, communication, and balancing career growth with personal values and responsibilities.
The event concluded with an engaging interactive Q&A session with the panelists, allowing participants to share perspectives and seek guidance on professional and ethical challenges. The program ended with a Vote of Thanks delivered by our City President, Mr. Naveed Shaikh, expressing gratitude to the speakers, attendees, and organizing team for making the event a success.
